I've always loved some of Elvis' songs. "Are you lonesome tonight" is one such. When I listened to it for the first time, it had caught my imagination. I listened to it again and again and learnt the lyrics by heart. I shared it with friends, gifted them CDs in an attempt to continuously let them know that a song like this exists.
Below is a video of that song, but it perhaps did not come out as Elvis would have wanted it, but, this particular video when he forgets the lyrics and makes it up somehow, has made me admire him even more. I was completely moved by this footage. It is hard not to.
(His death anniversary was on the 16th August. He was 42 when he died and is 31 years since)
