Having made known to all that I was reading Life of Pi, it is important to let you all know I've finished it also. Here are a few takeaways from the book.
Pi, tames the tiger, Richard Parker, in a way, that only Yann Martel (the author of the book) can explain.
On the course of reading the same, I realized there are a few Richard Parkers in me, which needs to be tamed. The manner in which fear, first faced by Pi whilst he discovered the method to tame the tiger, was overcome is very important. I would read these particular passages again and again.
Richard Parker has made as much as an impact on me as Pi. I wanted to meet Pi and give him a hug. (But right now, i just wanna meet Yann Martel) My desktop wallpaper is a tiger now. Richard Parker occupies much of my mind nowadays and, when mystique told me about the movie - TWO BROTHERS, I just made my weekend plan!
(yeah and am reading yajnaseni by draupadi right now and its a fascinating narration of her life events)
