A day in May never came so sweet.
The day laziness could just not beat
Deciding to wear out ere lunch time.
I headed to the venue, which was most sublime
to be greeted by the brave bangalore fleet
There were kids, youth, old, short, tall
beauty, wisdom, daring, courage and all
shouting sloagans Run Bangalore Run..
For we all know, marathon is fun
What zeal, what fury hath inspired them all!
Even before the sound of gunshot faded away,
All seem'd running to devour the way
hunger enforcing us to be more eager
broader were the roads, which otherwise meager
helping us claim the uncertain glory* of the day
(ps. uncertain glory because i was not sure of completing the event)
yup, i completed, celebrated and had great fun!
