Rajajinagar - A State Of Mind

Happiness, as a section of the population has accepted and has decided to perceive, is a state of mind. You can stay there, but you can't get there and get out of it as often as you like, and in the way you want. There are supposedly proven techniques today to take you there and the transportation to that state being carried out by *NGO* s that promise (for a fee that is collected for a social cause) you'll always be happy and lead a stress free life. A common man's dream.

There could be a lot of forces that act as obstacles in the path to happiness. To overcome these is quite a challenge. Absence of which, you wouldn't be reading this post now, as there would be no problems at all!

There's another parallel that is slowly brewing up and posing a stiff competition to happiness. Rajajinagar. yes you read it right. It just is.

If you're staying in Rajajinagar / Basaveshwaranagar and go out for work towards Koramangala / ITPL / ... you would immediately connect to what i m trying to say. the entry from sujatha theatre road is blocked for eons now. There's this sinister back up thro' the lanes of adjacent slums where in people, houses, shops, arrack shops, vehicles and animals lay scattered all over the place and beyond help. To ride / drive through these roads is not just taxing, but well..., beyond words. This means, one has to travel half of Bangalore to reach the abode, twice a day, which is always running in the person who has to travel's mind all the time as to which is the best way to reach there. A common man's dream.

When a particular thing occupies your mind for quite some time, it qualifies to be a 'state of mind'. Also, reaching and coming away from rajajinagar is not as easy that it can be written about. The uniqueness of this subject is that 'everybody has to suffer'. 'nobody will be spared'. unlike happiness. the saint in himalayas, needn't suffer. he will be spared.

So, perceived this way, Rajajinagar shalt be reached by all... wake up sons and daughters, wake up to this thought... reach home everyday. (everyday != everynight)

You usually speak in punchlines and taglines and other such lines. It was nice to read complete sentences in your post. :)

I dont know how it began... may be it was destiny. of my five years of graduation, two years I was 'blessed' because i had to reach college passing through blore's biggest slums 'tannery' road. the other three years I had to reach college by another slum 'goripalya'. and I always visited slums to choose patients for my experimental clinics. So when i went through rajajinagar, it was just another road. I conclude u need not be in himalayas to be happy!!!!!! joy is where home is.....
