Everyday man woke up 30 minutes later than planned and the mobile phone had no new messages. He then went to complete his morning rituals and checked his email. There weren't any new emails other than spam. He started singing his favorite tune - the unforgiven by metallica and grabbed the two slices of bread - his breakfast, and listened to the usual "shouldn't do" things his mother and granny had to say.
Everyday man, with his lunch box, has to kick start his bike thrice to get it right. The mornings are always like this. He faces the red at every signal and has to stop before proceeding. The buses don't give him space. He mutters this and that and continues singing "Here I am" by bryan adams tune. Reaches office and finds that there's no parking space. Finds one and has to walk half a kilometer. Enters office wearing his helmet and sits in front of his cabin. The colleague wishes good morning without looking away from her screen. He starts typing away and hopes to complete the report at least 12 hours later than what he had promised.

And everyday man answers international calls in heavy traffic just to say he can't hear. :P
where has the 'solitary cyclist' gone???
@Anon: yeah, that isn't an everyday story though.
@Medhini: The solitary cyclist is just a hope now.
May be he has become very later man
@Guru: Yeah. Or, Everyday Man's Everyday Story perhaps is Very Later.
