Radio One is in (as of now)

The only time I listen to the radio is when I'm riding my bike. And I travel quite a bit over the week. Atleast 12 hours. The radio channel I used to listen to was Fever 104. I loved the combination of 2 Hindi + 1 English and they had carved a niche. They weren't playing all the Hindi songs released. They had a particular inclination to Indipop-ish kind of music and the goings was good.

Until someone decided to introduce Kannada into the combination, instead of English. That spoilt everything, not the kannada songs by itself, but it didn't fit into the kind of music Fever was playing. And so the radio was tuned to catch a different frequency, who call themselves as Radio One.

Now, these people are good. I'm going to listen to them until they do something foolish and change the offerings to match its competitors. What the radio guys should actually do is to listen to its listeners rather than get scared and copy what other radio stations are doing.
