I've always endorsed bike travel. There are blogposts, driven by biking experience, be it in Chennai (with the man who forgot the point that was), or Bangalore, or the great road trip. All that has to come to an end, at least temporarily.
Less said about the Bangalore traffic, the better. In my effort to reduce one bike from the roads, I've begun to travel by Bus. Yes, sleep, reading and seeing my city gets more attention than ever! There were times in my college days, when I used to dream of traveling in 'my own' bike, as I was sitting in the bus. I have lived that dream and am back to the place to dream more than before!
(Of all the things, the bus brings in discipline. You've to do it, to know it)

Fantabulous.Bike gives that comfort feeling and its hard to get away from it.Mega leap.My one day includes 6 buses,50 kilometres and 4 hours with the peepal of Bangalore. You dont need books to learn Kannada, ride this way for a week.
Good luck.Dont remain shy.Do go to the front of the bus from time to time and bump into stranger girls. You never know who you get married to.
At last you have realised the comforts of travelling in bus. Jai namma BMTC ge! And welcome aboard!
