The Walk For Peace

The distance was daunting. The beast was in the service station. The buses were crowded. I wanted to do something good. It was important and I had to do it. After a little ambivalence I could see only one option in front of me.

It was 11 kms. It wasn't for a cause when I started. As I embarked on the journey I felt the friction between the limbs and the joints. I assumed they were at war with each other. I heard gun shots at joints. the muscles were being tugged as a part of the war.

After 25% of the distance was covered, I felt free. There was no friction. nope. none. zilch. null. I 'felt' flexible; then started the fun. All the parts of the body that could be missed while on wheels were discovered.

It was total peace at the end. Thats what happened when I walked back home from office last week. It was for peace. internal peace, that is.
